雪をかぶって枝を垂らすリンゴは、まるでドングリのようにかわいらしい。ここは福島市飯坂町平野のリンゴ畑。周辺は果樹農家が多く、もう少し西に行くと「フルーツライン」の愛称で知られる県道5号にあたる。
　福島のリンゴは蜜が多いと言われる。これは実を完熟させてから収穫することができる気候による。さわやかな香りと、しっかりとした甘みが味わえるのはこの寒暖差のお陰だと思えば、夏の暑さも冬の寒さもありがたいものなのだ。


■Snowy apple is as cute as an acorn.This is an apple garden in Iizaka,Fukushima City.There are many fruit farmers around the garden.When you go to the west a little more you will find Fukushima prefectural road No. 5 recognized by the nickname of "Fruit Line."
It is said that apples in Fukushima contain much of honey,because of the climate to be harvested after fruits ripe.Fukushima is too hot in summer and too cold in winter.But we want to thank the climate for enjoying the scent and sweetness of this apple.
