雪原に並ぶ、小さなかまくら。その一つひとつにロウソクが灯される「なかやま雪月火」。名前の通り、雪と、冴えた空に昇る月、そしてロウソクの火のコントラストを楽しむという、情緒ある雪まつりだ。
　ロウソクへの点火には、ライターなどを持参すると誰でも参加できる。帰り道、「寒いね」と言いながらも私が灯した明かりを探して、何度も立ち止まり、振り返る。揺らぐ光には、どこか温もりが感じられる。
