釈迦堂川の春。見上げた空を彩るのは、両岸約２㎞にわたって植えられた桜と五百余りの鯉のぼり。澄み切った皐月の空を鯉のぼりが風に乗って泳ぐ姿こそ、日本の雅そのものである。

■Shakado River flows in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture, where you can watch cherry blossom trees in spring and fireworks in summer.When the cherry blossoms are blooming, Japanese traditional lucky "Koinobori" is hanging over the river.Koinobori is decorated for the healthy growth of children and is a very vivid color cloth with carp as a motif.The contrast between the color of sky bule and Koinobori expresses Japanese beauty.
